Art in the Parks -- Paint Out Site -- October 1

This Saturday the Paint Out Site for PAPC - SW is a combination paint/show/sale. We may do all of the above -- especially PAINT PLEIN AIR. The fee has been paid. There is no commission for sales. This is the first Annual of this event. They would like us to provide our individual contact information for next year's event.

DIRECTIONS: Click the title line to go to the Inwood website which includes a map.

The setting is a park surrounded on three sides by a golf course -- and tennis court. There is a pavilion for shelter, a stream, a foot-bridge and views of the rolling hills of the golf course. It is a lovely setting and THE WEATHER IS COOLER than other events in this very hot summer.

The gates open at 8:00 AM. We will meet at the main parking lot at 8:30 AM. We will paint and reconvene at 12:30 for a group critique. The event runs until 3:00 PM. We can get two paint sessions in. If anyone plans to set up sale paraphernalia we are responsible for our providing our own setup materials. There is a large parking lot and there are facilities. The setting is very relaxing.

It is another opportunity for us to get some great paintings for our show in November/December. The Challenge is ON.
